Fin de saison pour Mickaël Capelli (Pau)

Pau: Mickaël Capelli out for the season

Pau’s second row player Mickaël Capelli was injured during the match against La Rochelle last weekend. It has been confirmed that he has ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament and will undergo surgery in the near future. This means his season is over, as the recovery time for this type of injury is between seven to ten months.

The news comes as a blow to Capelli, who has had his fair share of injuries and concussions throughout his career. It is also a setback for Pau, who currently sits in 6th place in the Top 14 league and relied on Capelli as one of their key players in the first half of the season. The 26-year-old had appeared in 10 out of 14 matches for the club, including 8 starts.

This latest injury will undoubtedly be a disappointment for both Capelli and Pau, but they will need to regroup and find ways to cope without him for the remainder of the season.
